Teacup Candles

We’ve finally had a few days of cold weather which never fails to make me crazy for candles! This year, I decided to try out making a few for myself. Since I’ve been buying fragrance oils from Aztec Candle & Soap Supplies, I’ve got a wide variety of scents–many appropriate for both soaps and candles.

There was a fragrance that one of sisters fell in love with after trying it out in some soap. She asked me if I could make candles with that. I said I would sure try it! I bought a bigger bottle of it and have made some wonderful jar candles. Then, I got a sample of a scent called Coconut Pumpkin Latte from there and it just blows my mind it is so good! I immediately knew I had to have some candles of that scent.

As it’s reminiscent of a coffee beverage, I thought it would be really cute to make some candles in little cups. My mom just happened to have a few sitting out that we both thought would make great candles, so I brought them home to try out.

Have a look at this video if you’d like to see how they turned out!
